I have been boating for 60 years starting with a 14 ft wooden rowboat to my current 26 ft cabin cruiser which I have used extensively for 23 years on the Jersey shore, New York Harbor and the Hudson River, Delaware River and currently on the Maine coast. Rob Barone Jr. is the Vice President of D&R Boats and a third-generation member of the Barone family marine business. Starting out by bottom painting boats, he worked his way through every aspect of the dealership before becoming a factory-trained marine technician and sales professional. With over a decade of hands-on experience, Rob brings a rare combination of technical expertise and customer-focused sales to every client interaction. From boat deliveries to routine service and rigging, he remains personally involved long after the sale, helping customers get the most from their Yamaha outboards, marine electronics, and overall boating experience.

I grew up spending every summer at my family’s beach house in Toms River, where I was constantly out on the water in the Barnegat Bay. Those experiences are what really sparked my passion for boating.
Because of that background, I understand the local waters and the boats that work best here. I enjoy helping customers find the right boat for their lifestyle so they can create the same kind of memories on the water that I grew up with.

Patrick Sisbarro connection to the dealership began long before he joined the team. After growing up with his father purchasing boats from D&R, Patrick later became a customer himself before turning his passion into a career. An avid boater who works on and maintains his own boats, he brings real-world experience to every sale. Whether it’s helping at boat shows, delivering boats, hauling, or assisting in the service department, Patrick is always ready to step in and ensure customers receive the best possible experience on and off the water.

I’ve been an entrepreneur and salesman for the last 45 years. From 1989 to 2004, I owned and operated an automotive accessories store, after which I transitioned into a role as a wireless government sales specialist.
In 2019, I purchased a 2016 Cruisers Sport Series 258 from D&R and had a great experience working with Robert and the entire team. After retiring in 2025, I quickly realized I wasn’t ready to slow down and wanted to take on something new. When D&R began looking for a new salesman, the opportunity felt like a natural fit, and I joined the team in August of 2025.
I’ve spent the past seven years boating on Barnegat Bay, and with my technical background, I’ve worked extensively on friends’ boats, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of boating. I’ve also been a motorsports enthusiast for over 40 years—boats and snowmobiles are my go-to toys.
I’ve lived in Somerset County, New Jersey my entire life and am genuinely looking forward to meeting new people and helping make their boating dreams come true.
