"Mr. Barone, I'm a D&R boat owner since 2001 and just wanted to say "thanks" to your service dept. for some recent service they provided me with my boat problems. My boat has fortunately had limited problems since I purchased it and most general maintenance issues I've handled independently. However, my boat was giving off audio alarm signals since Memorial Day and no one could trouble shoot the problem. Being concerned and afraid to run the boat, I finally contacted your service dept in early June and Dana tried to assist me but could only offer me an appointment for July 1. I also contacted service manager Rich Lewis who also attempted to help me over the phone until he could get a tech out to assist me. Although it took a few weeks to get someone out as it it was your busiest season, Rich did get a tech out to me prior to the July 1 date and the problem was finally diagnosed and ultimately fixed by your tech John. Sincere thanks to the service team which helped me.....Dana, Rich, and tech John. I appreciate the service commitment they provided me as a D&R boat owner and their ability to stand by their product. "My name is Michael, i was driving passed your dealership last saturday after visiting a local motorcycle shop. I stopped in because the boats on the front line caught my attention. A few of your salesmen were on the phone, so a young man named Tom approached me and my family and asked if he could help us out. We started talking about the 22' Robalo that was out front, but by asking where i was going to use the boat and who would be with me while im out, he quickly turned me into the right direction, of Crownline. I rarely fish, and my family is always with me, a Robalo would work, but in terms of comfort for my wife and children, he made perfect sense by referring me into the 19' Crownline. He knew that boat inside and out, from the engine and standard features to warrantys and maintenance, he was just a wealth of knowledge. In a society that is quick to complain, where salesman at other dealerships are pushy and unknowledgable. I have nothing but good things to say about Tom, He took his time and explained everything from the purchase, to rig time, and finally, delivery with the orientation we would recieve, ive been to alot of dealerships, rarely does the purchase include an orientation. He informed me after we were done talking about the boat, that hes not even a salesman there, he runs the store! Hes going to have a great future with your company. Unfortunatly we don't have the money for the boat right now, but there is no question about buying a boat from Tom in the spring, you can say its a done deal! "

" I wanted to follow-up with you to let you know that the boat and I made it back to Nashville. The Crownline is everything you promised...and more. With regard to the transaction, it could hardly have gone better. George spent over an hour and a half walking me the operation and maintenance of the boat and trailer. That guy is priceless!!! I've been involved in boating most of my life so I was amazed that he was able to teach me so much that I'd never known. It's very impressive to find a dealership willing to spend that much time with you after the sale. Thanks for having all the paperwork completed and ready to go. The gentleman in Service (Rich) was great too and got me through the paperwork quickly and painlessly. Yesterday was my first opportunity to get on the boat and clean it up after the drive to Nashville. Everything looks great and I'm hoping to splash it for the first time this weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a full complement of vests, lines and fenders left on the boat. Nice little bonus! Thanks again for a great boat-buying experience! "Hello, Im emailing you in regards to your acc. store manager. The young man who works behind the counter was one of the most helpful people ive ever come accross before in my life. He is the epitome of customer service and a good salesman. I couldn't believe how knowledgable Tom is. For being so young, he is an absolute marvel when it comes to boating, rules and regulations, service and maintenance tips, and just overall knowledge of boats. I stopped by for the first time the other day, i have been a West Marine customer for years. I walked into your store, and you have just as many products as the West Marine by me, better pricing, but most importantly, knowledgable staff who don't just care about the bottom line, but providing superb customer service, knowledge to troubleshoot issues, and tips to prevent future problems. "Mr. Barone, Recently I had the experience to work with Warren at the new Jersey Boat Show in Edison, NJ. I would like to tell you what a great experience I had with him. He took me thru all the points of the Robalo to educate me. Remember when I met him I told him I would not be buyung this year. He fully understood and did not pressure me during his entire presentation. Other experiences at that same show were the opposite. My plans have changed and do plan to purchase now rather than later because of the superb service I have recieved from Warren. I now understand why D&R Boatworld has been in business for over 50 years. It makes me feel great to know there is at least one dealership that appreciates my business. Thanks again for everything. Recently we had the pleasure of buying our new Crownline 180BR boat form your fine company. From the time we met Stan during our early visits to discuss our purchase to George in Service who handled our boat introduction when we took possession, we were treated like Royalty.

We wanted to send this letter & thank everyone in your company for making our purchase very enjoyable even though we had some questions early on. Our new boat has been used 9 times over the last 5 weekends. We have many new friends because of this boat.

Please let Rich in Service, Jim in Accessories, and Mike in Parts know how much we appreciate their tips & efforts in dealing with our questions.

I can not tell you how much we enjoyed working with Stan and George. They are classy gentlemen.

"Robert, I just wanted to drop you a note to say how pleased I am with D&R Boats. From the moment I met Mike Garze at the AC Boat Show in February until the day I took delivery from Don (don't remember his last name) in May, I have been very impressed and completely satisfied. The Robalo R230 is fantastic and I'm very happy with the choice I made. However, more importantly I think my decision to purchase from D&R was the best decision I could have made. Everyone I have come in contact with at D&R Boats has made this experience a very pleasant one. Mike is an excellent sales person (although I know he is really the parts mgr), he never made me feel pressured, or gave me any sales hype. He just answered my questions, was always available when I had a question, and was just a real nice guy to work with. Rich Lewis was also very helpful, and after speaking with him a few times, he helped convince me I made the right choice in not only the boat I selected, but also the dealer. Rich was also very helpful in educating me on the electronics I was interested in getting installed on my new boat. Don was very patient with me during the initiation/delivery. His thoroughness and attention to detail was evident the entire time. This was confirmed when he took the extra time to come back to my dock to complete a repair that required a electrical outlet. Don also returned the following day to replace a lamp cover that must have come off on the trip down to Manahawkin. I must say I was little concerned about buying a boat from a dealer so far away from where I keep my boat. But after seeing the service that Don performed, and reading about your new location in Somers Point, along with all the excellent people I have dealt with at D&R Boats, I know I have made a great decision. "On Saturday April 22 we took delivery of our new 520 Express. The temperature was in the 40's, it was raining, and the wind was blowing 20 knots but our entusiasm could not be dampened. Kevin from D&R Boats spent most of the day with us going over every inch of our new craft including spending over an hour in the engine room. He was informative and patient. Everyone we have dealt with from D&R has been outstanding; Peter and Rob from sales, Rich from Service, and Kevin have been truly outstanding. They have treated us more like friends and family rather than merely customers. We will certainly recommend D&R with great entusiasm and confidence to anyone who is even thinking of purchasing a boat! Mr. Bobrowski is a gentleman, he introduced me to everyone in all the departments and they all were very helpful and accommodating to my needs. While I only purchased a small used boat, your staff treated me as though I was your only customer purchasing a fifty foot yacht. My salesman, Jim McKeever, took the time to show me this and other boats. He answered all my questions... and never pressured me.

Prior to my coming in to pick up my boat I had the occasion to talk over the phone with your Receptionist, Christine in Service, Rich Lewis and Tom Redman. Everyone was pleasant, helpful, and efficent. After the closing Tom took the time to introduce me to everyone in the various departments. I especially want to thank John who spent a good deal of time orienting me to the boat at delivery. He was patient and gave me as much time as I needed to become fully comfortable with the boat's operation and maintenance.

"I recently purchased a new 2005 370 Cruisers Yacht my 4 new boat purchased at D&R. This is by far the one of the best boats made. D & R were very proactive in making the experience very manageable. Their service department is by far the most responsive and helpful to their customers. The Finance department saved me thousands of dollars in insurance and sales tax. If I ever buy another new boat it will certainly be at D & R. "
